Natural Coco Coir Doormat by William F. Kempf Cocomats

This exciting new purchase (yes, I am thrilled with my new Coir Doormat!) is exactly what I wanted....only BETTER! Imports Decor Coir Doormat, Plain Coco, 36-Inch by 60-Inch is 2 inches thick (a must for me) and covers my door front perfectly. I was looking for a doormat to replace one at our back door. The mats available at local stores were for the most part very thin and unsubstantial.

I love this Natural Coco Coir Doormat by William F. Kempf Cocomats. It's only been at my house a few days, but it definitely seems like it's great quality and will hold up to lots of foot traffic. It's very very thick, so make sure you realize that before planning to purchase on a door that will have to swing over-top of it. The few that were the size and thickness we wanted had "Welcome" on them and we didn't want that for the back door.
  • Classic; Traditional Braided Edge Coco mat
  • Made from 100-Percent Natural coir fiber
  • Heavy Duty 1.5" thick Coco Door mat
  • Compact Weave prevents mat from shedding as much as other cheap quality coco mats
  • Durable and Easy to maintain
These things seem to be hard to find in stores, which is why I got mine here. The advantage of these Imports Decor Coir Doormat, Plain Coco is that they really do clean your shoes (because they're rough and absorbent) and they're natural. This mat is twice as thick as our old one, very tightly woven and had no message. It is perfect for what we needed and we are very happy with it.

I bought the largest size for my large, wooden front porch. I live in New England and a lot of snow and ice blows across the front porch, making it very slippery. This doormat is effective is removing soil from shoes and boots. It's also attractive. This mat is very thick and lush, almost too nice to subject to the elements of a New England winter. I placed this mat from the edge of the wooden front porch, to the front door.

I placed a metallic boot cleaner mat on the rug closest to the door. This combination works very well. People don't slip on the porch, the rug is too heavy to slide around on the porch, and the mat holds the small boot scraper mat in place. When it comes time to replace it I'm sure we will get the same one. This was a good solution to our problems and I recommend this Imports Decor Coir Doormat, Plain Coco, 36-Inch by 60-Inch to other people with very cold, long, and icy winters.
